Biography
Shaojun Guo is currently a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering with a joint appointment at Department of Energy&Resources Engineering, at College of Engineering, Peking University. He received his Ph. D from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Brown University, and J. Robert Oppenheimer Distinguished Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2014, 2015 and 2016, he was selected by Thomson Reuters into their prestigious list of World Most Highly Cited Researchers. He has also received numerous prestigious prizes including ISE-Elsevier Prize for Applied Electrochemistry and the Recruitment Program of Global Youth Experts, etc. He has published more than 190 papers with over 14700 citations (H-index: 66).

Engineering nanocrystals and 2D materials for catalysis, renewable energy, optoelectronics and biosensors.
